These guys are excellent!! Contacted StarCity for an emergency removal request with 2 x days notice for a Saturday move. Promptly responded with a confirmation. On the day the crew were on-time, worked diligently to get the job done ASAP (great when paying per the hour) and were totally professional and caring towards my furniture and the new premises, always being cautious not to cause any damage and protect my possessions.
I would recommend the crew that did my job to anyone and congratulations go to StarCity for such prompt and competent service given short notice.
From the first point of contact very professional. I found StarCity Removals to be very competitive in their quote. They quoted a per hour rate and there were no hidden costs. They arrived early and got on with the job. It wasn't the easiest of jobs, as we were moving to 3rd floor with stairs. Thank you to the guys, you were great! Would definitely use them again...
After reading some of the positive reviews, and noting the modest hourly rate that they charge, I decided to use these guys for our move. At the time of the booking I spoke to a nice and friendly lady named Fiona, and later to another one named Sarah. Both these ladies were very helpful and willing to answer all questions without any hesitation. This needs a mention because a couple of other removalists I contacted were so full of attitude even on the phone! The day before the move we got a confirmation call from Sarah asking if everything was in place for the move, which was good. The actual movers were 3 gentlemen Joe, Teate and Sam. They were all very friendly and jovial people who seemed to know what they were doing. They stacked all the boxes nicely and even assisted in packing some of the half-packed boxes. Our couch and furniture were very neatly wrapped in blankets and cling-wrap just as they show in the pictures they send with the quotation. They kept working tirelessly for a long 8 hours with just a couple of short breaks for drinks and lunch. Apart from a few really minor scratched edges or chipped corners there were no problems at all with the move. Considering the amount of stuff that we had this was literally nothing.
